DESCRIPTION:Rockport on film! On Tuesday\, Oct. 10\, the Sandy Bay Historical Society will feature Pierce Sears\, owner of Twin Lights Beverages and an avid collector of films about Rockport. Pierce will show a variety of short films about subjects such as the Miss Rockport Celebration of 1931\, Fourth of July parades from 1955 to 1961\, and a bicycling parade in 1969. The free event is at 7:30 p.m. at the Rockport Public Library Brenner Room.

Customers included presidents\, business tycoons\, artists\, movies stars and everyday tourists. Paul St. Germain\, president of the Thacher Island Association and author\, will share stories of this unique and one-of-a-kind business and the people who dined there.
