May 13th – The South End Beaches (Or, One Beach Becomes Three)

The Sandy Bay History Society presents Charley Seavey on the South End Beaches of Rockport. Charley is a former college professor, historian, and “Storyteller” as he calls himself when talking about his approach to teaching. He lives near these beaches visiting them often and have developed a love and a deep interest in them. To support his talk he has collected many old maps, some vintage pictures, and some graphs about sea level and global temperature changes.
