History of the Congregational Church

Jack Reed, former chair of the First Congregational Church board of trustees, will present an illuminating history of one of Rockport’s most significant landmarks. Before there was a Rockport, there was a Congregational meeting house at Sandy Bay. The histories of the church and of the town have been closely aligned for over 250 years. The relationship between the town and the church remains significant for the future.
